[ Music & Music Players ] Open Question : What is better? 16g 2nd gen or 8g 3rd gen? (Both are new but the 16g cost $50 more)?

Im face with a problem. All i need is a little advice. What Ipod do you think i should get? New 16g 2nd gen or new 8g 3rd gen. 16g cost $50 more. I would really apreacite some honest answers.
